July 31st, 2017 Brushed Oil Satin Impervo

Powder rooms, foyers, and dining rooms are ideal areas of a house to let your creative side push the envelope. Those rooms are were you get to have fun.  One of our favorite looks is crosshatch, brushed oil Satin Impervo. Benjamin Moore Satin Impervo is our go-to product to achieve this rich and sophisticated look.

What’s so beautiful about brushed oil Satin Impervo?

It is difficult to appreciate this look from a photo. This is, without a doubt, something that you have to see in person to truly appreciate this stunning concept.  With this process walls, ceiling, and trim look like an actual oil base painting on a canvas. You can see how every brush stroke creates depth to your space. Another nice touch is the subtle shiny sheen of the oil base paint. And lastly, your walls are very smooth to the touch.

More often than not, homeowners are hesitant to go with darker shades. But that’s part of the fun. Powder rooms are great candidates for darker colors as it is shown in the photo.

A few more points about brushed oil Satin Impervo.

Skilled master painters with lots of years of experience are a must every time you are dealing with specialty and decorative paint finishes. These bred and seasoned painters are more artisans than tradesmen. The best way to find out if you are dealing with the right painter/artisan is by asking them for photos and references. Seeing an actual project would be ideal.  Jason Bertoniere, Inc. have completed numerous brushed oil Satin Impervo projects. We can also arrange for you to come see one of our projects at a moment’s notice. So please feel free to ask!

Another question we get often is about budget. One of the most positive aspects to this look is that it is pretty budget friendly. If you are considering giving a room this look, I would suggest choosing your powder room as you will definitely get your money’s worth.
