November 14th, 2018 Benjamin Moore Announces Color of the Year 2019

It’s official. 2019 is the year of the neutral! In contrast to last year’s BOLD favorite, Benjamin Moore’s Color of the Year 2019 Metropolitan AF-690 evokes neutrality and balance. Last year, we saw bold shades of deep crimson and rich cerulean as industry favorites. This year, complete with its own palate of complementary shades, Metropolitan AF-690 is a utilitarian favorite. This rich grey easily translates to any home space. Described as “not arresting or aggressive,” Metropolitan AF-690 diverges from Color of the Year choices from years past as a versatile shade. This true neutral, charcoal grey pairs well with any shade, creating a canvas for bold accents and furniture or a more neutral palette.
